Shizuoka Hojicha 花

The unique hojicha, born from excellence. Our flower hojicha is made by lightly roasting white leaf Sencha, a rare tea variety that is native to Japan and originated from Shizuoka. When made into hojicha, the unique flavor of our first harvest white leaf Sencha is reminiscent of cherry blossoms (sakura) and jasmine flowers.

Our flower hojicha is characterized by its strong floral tea flavor, with a pleasant medium-bodied bitterness followed by hints of sweetness. Our partnered farm spans 23 generations and has won numerous awards in the Sencha category.
